Over the last decade, the aircraft has been serviced regularly by North Weald Heritage Aviation.The aircraft has benefited from a full refinish approx 8 years ago.The aircraft has been stored inside when not in use, maintaining the beautiful authentic finish.The aircraft has also had a full radio and transponder suite upgrade compatible with current UK CAA regulations.
G-CIMX is powered by a Rolls-Royce Nimbus Gas Turbine, built to be robust and easy to service.As of November 2022 - G-CIMX has just been released from Annual Servicing. Airframe and component fatigue life available by request via emails/online form submission.The aircraft will be serviceable and ready for viewing/test flights.
As with nearly all Scout aircraft, G-CIMX was in service with the British Army Air Corpsfor a number of decades before being retired and purchased for civilian use.
